I've been working in managed IT services since 2018 — eight years across MSPs in Greater Los Angeles, supporting clients in legal, accounting, healthcare, education, and property management. Microsoft 365 rollouts. On-site network deployments. Security hardening for compliance-sensitive environments. The practical, day-to-day work that keeps businesses running.
Why I started Verta IT
What I learned over those eight years: most IT providers default to fast, automated, and impersonal. That works for selling at scale, but it doesn't work for a 12-person law firm whose paralegal can't log in 20 minutes before a court filing. Those firms deserve a real person on the other end of the call — someone who knows their environment, takes the problem seriously, and follows up without being asked.
